Crock Pot Shredded Chicken Ranch Tacos

Some people have kids that are picky eaters... I have a husband. So when we find a recipe that we both love, we roll with it! My crock pot has been a huge lifesaver. I am someone that loves cooking extra yummy meals but I prefer to do it without the mess. I stumbled upon this recipe and knew we had to try it! We are a big taco family but I had never tried cooking chicken tacos before. Let's just say that this is going to be a frequent repeater meal for us!

Crock Pot Shredded Chicken Ranch Tacos

 INGREDIENTS:

Chicken Breast

Taco Seasoning

Ranch Packet Seasoning

Chicken Stock

Crock Pot Shredded Chicken Ranch Tacos

I am cooking for 2 people so you can always add more chicken stock and chicken based off of the amount of people you are cooking for, but I do not recommend using more than 1 pack of ranch and taco seasoning.

Instructions:

  • Add 1 cup of chicken stock to crock pot.

  • Mix 1 packet of ranch seasoning and taco seasoning to crock pot.

  • Lay chicken evenly throughout the bottom of the crock pot.

  • Cover and cook on high for 5 hours or low for 8 hours.

  • During the final hour, use 2 forks to shred the chicken.

  • Once the chicken is shredded, re-mix everything in the crock pot and allow it to cook for one more hour. This will allow the chicken to fully soak up all the juices.
